1. Scope and Eligibility

By using SAFE AI, you agree to these terms and applicable Kenyan law.

Users must be 18+ unless lawful exceptions apply for minors seeking safety support.

Service providers must hold valid professional accreditation.

2. Service Definition and Limits

SAFE AI provides AI support, resource matching, appointment workflows, and provider coordination tools.

SAFE AI does not replace emergency responders or licensed medical, legal, or mental health treatment.

For imminent danger, contact emergency services immediately.

3. User Responsibilities

Users are responsible for account credential security and lawful platform usage.

Impersonation, abuse, unauthorized data access, and harmful content are prohibited.

Users must provide accurate information where required for service operation.

4. Appointments, Cancellations, and Conduct

Service providers must honor confirmed bookings except emergencies.

Survivor and provider cancellation rights apply under Kenyan consumer protections.

Repeated no-shows or repeated late provider cancellations may trigger account controls.

5. Data Protection and Confidentiality

Conversations and sensitive workflows are treated as confidential and protected.

Mandatory disclosure may occur only in legally required high-risk cases.

Users may request access, correction, deletion, or restriction of personal data under Kenyan law.

6. Fees and Refunds

Solace support remains free for survivors.

Provider subscriptions and transaction fees apply where configured in platform plans.

Refund handling follows consumer law and documented cancellation outcomes.

7. Liability, Disputes, and Governing Law

SAFE AI works to maintain high availability but cannot guarantee uninterrupted service.

Disputes should start with informal resolution before escalation to arbitration.

These terms are governed by the laws of Kenya.

8. Termination and Updates

Users may close accounts in accordance with data retention and legal obligations.

SAFE AI may suspend accounts for abuse, fraud, or regulatory requirements.

Material term changes are communicated in advance and may require explicit consent.
